The National Honor Society (NHS) strives to help its members grow in the four core areas of character, scholarship, leadership, and service. We participate in activities that serve both our schools and the community. Members are chosen through a rigorous application process that evaluates not only their prior accomplishments, but their potential for growth as leaders. Our ultimate goal is to prepare members to become helpful and thoughtful citizens who possess the necessary skills and values for any future interactions in which they may engage.
All general meetings (held on alternating Wednesdays in the C-Lyceum) are student-led and student-organized, as are the community service projects. Club organization, fundraising, and the NHS tutoring program are carried out with the support, guidance, and effort of the two NHS advisors.
Pacifica’s NHS is composed of members from grades 10 through 12, alongside the members on the executive board.→
